Bailey Brew
Our brand was born in Bondi back in 2012. We started selling hand crafted glasses at the local markets, and we still make hand crafted glasses today.
We're a little bigger now, with over 60 stores in 4 countries; but we've never lost our love for Bondi or our love for the hand crafted. Bondi is at the heart of our brand, we wear our Australian roots on our sleeve. We still have a boutique in Bondi and we still have friends there too.
Our mate Paul Parks makes craft beer from his micro brewery right where it all began for us on Ben Buckler in Bondi. Ben Buckler Brewery shares our origins and our passion for craft, they were the perfect partner to create something extra special (and extra pale) for our biggest year yet.
There was a lot to celebrate across our stores in 2018; with the opening of our tenth Canadian store, and our fortieth in Australia and New Zealand. Ben Buckler Brewery helped us create Bailey Brew, an Australian Extra Pale Ale that would be distributed to our boutiques across the world. The beer was be served at store events, marketing activations and impromptu parties between teams and customers alike. It was our way of raising a glass to where we're heading, and celebrating where we've come from.
We know it's a little different for an eyewear brand, but that's what we like to do, it's our little mantra - Look Different. Cheers.
